ALGORITHM Algorithm is a set of sequential steps to solve any logical or a mathematical problem. It is always written in simple language and precise manner, so that every one can understand the steps. Example: Algorithm To Set A School Bag Step 1 : Open the bag Step 2: Take out your school diary Step 3: See the Time Table Step 4: Go to your bookshelf Step 5: Take out the books and notebooks Step 6: Keep them in a bag Step 7: Close the bag Algorithm to calculate the sum and average of three numbers . Step 1: Read first Number(A) Step 2: Read Second Number(B) Step 3: Read third Number ( C ) Step 4: Find the sum of three numbers(A+B+C) Step 5: Find the Average(A+B+C)/3 Step 6: Display Average Step 7: Stop FLOWCHARTS A Flowchart is a pictorial representation of steps or an algorithm used for solving a particular problem. It uses boxes of different shapes to denote different types of instructions. These boxes are connected wi...

Congruence of Triangles: Congruence is the term used to define an object and its mirror image. Two objects or shapes are said to be congruent if they superimpose on each other. Their shape and dimensions are same. In case of geometric figures, line segments with same length are congruent and angles with same measure are congruent. Let’s see criteria of congruence of triangles with proof. CONGRUENCE OF TRIANGLES A polygon made of three line segments forming three angles is known as Triangle. Two triangles are said to be congruent if their sides have same length and angles have same measure. Thus two triangles can be superimposed side to side and angle to angle. Congruent triangles are triangles having corresponding sides and angles equal. Congruence is denoted by the symbol ≅ . They have same area and same perimeter. Congruence of triangles can be predicted without actually measuring the sides and angles. Different rules of congruence of triangle...

Electricity Electricity is a form of energy that can be carried by wires and is used for heating and lighting, and to provide power for machines. Electric Circuit: The path along which electric current flows. Complete circuit or closed circuit: When the path which starts from one terminal of the cell, ends at the other terminal of the cell, without any break. Open circuit or incomplete circuit: When the path of current, staring from one terminal of the cell to another terminal of the cell is broken or incompelte. Switch: It is a device used to close or open electric circuit. Electric Circuit

TRIANGLE A triangle is a closed figure bounded by the three line segments. Two Ways to Classify Triangles: l By Their Sides l By Their Angles Classifying Triangles by Their Sides Scalene Triangles l No sides are the same length Isosceles Triangles l At least two sides are the same length Equilateral Triangle l All sides are equal Classifying Triangles By Their Angles l Acute l Right l Obtuse Acute Triangles l Acute triangles have three acute angles Right Triangles l Right triangles have one right angle Obtuse Triangles l Obtuse triangles have one obtuse angle Angle prop...
