Electricity is a form of energy that can be carried by wires and is used for heating and lighting, and to provide power for machines.


Electric Circuit: The path along which electric current flows.

Complete circuit or closed circuit: When the path which starts from one terminal of the cell, ends at the other terminal of the cell, without any break.

Open circuit or incomplete circuit:
When the path of current, staring from one terminal of the cell to another terminal of the cell is broken or incompelte.

Switch: It is a device used to close or open electric circuit.

Congruence of Triangles: Congruence is the term used to define an object and its mirror image. Two objects or shapes are said to be congruent if they superimpose on each other. Their shape and dimensions are same. In case of geometric figures, line segments with same length are congruent and angles with same measure are congruent.
